Feel Good Meditation

Have you set yourself time for meditation and during that 15mins you ended up thinking about the things you have to do? After that, you guilt yourself for not doing the right thing?

Meditation has many health benefits, and there are many different types of meditation.
Like learning how to ride a bike or drive a car, or walk when we were a baby, we have to learn the skill to quiet our minds.
Many people have either given up on meditating or stressed over the “un-quiet” mind that they find that it is another task to do and moving further away from the good intention of meditation.

I am here to share with you a method that I teach. It is easy to start, stay and strengthen your meditation practice.
And I hope you will begin the journey of self-awareness with grace, ease and joy!

First thing, take a moment and FEEL, what makes you feel good. Include all five senses of hearing, touch, smell, taste and see.
Ask yourself what makes you feel good? You can say, being on the beach makes me feel good. So now, imagine the sand on your feet, you see yourself sitting on the beach, listening to the waves, you can taste the salty air and smell the air.
Does that make you feel good so much that you can feel your heart is open connecting to the Universe, your body relaxed?

Let me give you another example, and this is what I used all the time.
I love fruits, each time I go to the grocery store, I would buy lots of fruits just because they represent health and are colourful and bright and cheerful.
What makes me feel good? I love the feeling of crunching an apple and the juiciness. When I imagine that, I taste the sweetness of the apple at the back of my throat. There it connects to my heart. It makes me smile, and I love it.

I use this to begin my meditation, as I distract my mind by thinking of something that makes me feel good and during my meditation when my mind starts to wander, I imagine the sweetness of the apple in my mouth that I can almost taste it, and it makes me smile.

I focus on Feeling Good, Connect back and continue meditating.

Do this for 30 days, and you will redirect your busy mind. Groove into a new habit. And find better results in staying in your meditation, enjoying meditating and feeling good like I do.

Happy Meditating!

Peace, Health and Happiness

Much Love, Jacqueline
